My only instruction was to make sure the topknot is tall. Lately I see so many poodles where it looks like their topknot is growing into their ears like somebody turned a bull upside down and cut their hair. Put a path between the ear and the topknot to show some separation. I don’t know. I’m not a groomer, but I know when it looks weird.
